Yes black owned they do catering.
Great as always
Great value for money and friendly staff, only slight critism was that the service was a bit slow. Otherwise very happy.
Best Ethiopian restaurant and very friendly staff
Great food at reasonable prices. The 3 stars due to:- large number of permanently unavailable items on the menu- slow service- often the card machine does not work- takeaway is very expensive for portionsHowever, if you are not in a rush do not let these put you off as the food really is delicious
Had nice food and staff were very friendly
Amazing food and mainly Ethiopian clientele. Good value for money.
Good and clean.
Very slow service, unprofessional staff you have to beg them to get served! When things go wrong the Manager or the owner on that case instead of trying to understand the customer goes on the defence for their own mistakes!
They are not welcoming to come back again
Food, the fresh one is quite good ,the service is OK for the standard of this kind of restaurant. As all restaurant in London is missing the personality that welcoming you and explaining the food.
Fantastic
Moderate quality. A welcome unpretentious vibe.
For any person like to tray African meals
Excellent service:-)
Amazing vegan options and very reasonably priced.
Absolutely amazing Ethiopian food. Get the special platter. They also sell spices and pure golden frankincense grains for not much money!
Beware, food is hotter than chinese and indian. Didn't find service unusually slow, it was the same like all places serving fresh food. I missed a hot towel, lemon zest or at least a wet wipe so that I can clean my hands after eating.
Great, unique food options and experience. Communal style eating, and eating with hands makes for a more involved meal. Portions were average - a chicken dish (doro wit) came with one small, somewhat dry chicken leg, but there was plenty of injera. Server was excellent and friendly and taught us about Ethiopian food and culture.
This is the WORST place ever, very unprofessional and rude staff they will only treat you nice if you speak their language. Me and my friend went there and she ordered 2 different dishes to take away. However when she got home and open the bag it was 2 of the same so she didn't get the 2 different ones that she paid for! Not even that in one of the boxes it was no food just OIL??? She then called in to Flamingo and explained what happen but she didn't get any apology or explanation because they didn't have anyone that spoke English.. Unacceptable and it's not the first time I have had similar experience. If you want to try Ethiopian food I strongly recommend that you go try it else where.
I never go wrong with Flamingo.
Great authentic food! And good value for a group... Would definitely recommend
Very tasty food! The service is wanting however, but a good meal is a good meal.
Really nice ethiopian food.
Excelent
Lovely food, a bit of a language barrier with the staff, but they seemed really keen to help. Massive portions!
It’s always one of the cleanest restaurant but very bad enjera
Really excellent food, friendly staff, good menu, and fair pricing. 10/10 would recommend and go back.
Food was really good. Definitely going again. Can be slow but I guess small price to pay for fresh cooked food
Friendly down to earth service and delicious authentic food. Drinks are really good value and no service charge, meaning you can show your appreciation by adding your own generous tip. Will definitely be back!
Great food and wonderful experience. Highly recommend.
Superb food and friendly staff!! Perfect to take a break, disconnect and enjoy : )
Ethiopian resturant. Well cooked and nice
Not great.
Food was nice. Nice service too.
Filamingo is very tidy food everything is clean..restuarant..w🍊🍊
Good Ethiopian tradition food and drink. Recommended by me.
Booked a table for 2 with taste card which was easy. On arrival the service was poor / non-existent. Went to order a main and was told they don’t have it. Ordered a different main and told yet again they don’t have it. Told the waitress we’d decided to leave and go somewhere else, and was met with a blank look and no apology. Food may have been nice but the service was disappointing. Would not recommend.
Very friendly authentic atmosphere
Second time I've been here. So far the food and service were always outstanding. Thanks!
Delicious East African food
Great place for Ethiopian cuisine
Excellent food and service ! Definite go again
Food is not that good, decent place its not one of those places that you would like to visit more open.
Food is great. No parking
Absolutely delicious authentic food. I went with my friends used taste card and enjoyed so much traditional flavours. I am South Indian and we have similar pan cake type meal (Ingera) called Dosa. This was my third experience in Ethiopian restaurant.
Great tastes good food
By far the best Ethiopian food in London.
Ethiopian resturant & coffeeshop I have tried the famous Ethiopian Coffee ceremony for change & I liked it very much
Do something different. Try Ethiopian you won't be disappointed
This was an average place but is very good value. I liked the food but I think Mosob is better so probably would not go back. The service could have been better in that there wasn't much engagement by the waiting staff. It is very good value! We spent 10 each for drinks and mains. The enjera we were served was cold but the other food was hot.
